It has been a week since my son was admitted to the mental facility. He continues to take his medication willingly; he is calm, kind and appreciative. He went to his first appt. for an outpatient co-occurring program that he is mandated to participate in. He continues to sleep for long periods. I shop for nutritious food for him to eat and wash his clothes. Yesterday I called about the program in Santa Rosa..I cannot afford to do this I have decided. I called today to check on a local residential facility. The man I spoke with said he needs a referral from probation...why hasn't this happened? What does he have to do to get their attention? He keeps upping the ante with this latest crisis...I called and left a message AGAIN for probation..what will it take for him to get the help he needs?..I know..money.
There has to be an answer here, I have to keep asking questions and trying.
"If it is to be..it is up to me"
I felt better today..back at my work as a special education teacher..I will walk with my good friend @5:30 a.m. tomorrow. Our walks are such good therapy.
